Nin Brudermann is an Austrian-American artist, living in New York where she came as a participant in the International Studio Artist Program at MoMA PS1, NY in 1996. Her mixed-media works are narrative investigations, where an ambiguity exists between the real and the super-real. With her it is important to open the realm of possibilities, in the detective genre of the Whodunit. She has worked in a variety of media, including direction of standalone film and video works.

Nin Brudermann has exhibited her work at MoMA PS1, Brooklyn Museum, Venice Biennale, Arhus Kunsthal (DK), Futura (CZ), Kunstraum Dornbirn (A), Kunsthalle Krems and Kunsthalle Wien (A), Haus der Kunst Munich, Kunsthalle Marcel Duchamp (CH), National Centre for Contemporary Arts (RU). Her artist monograph ‘nb’, published by Verlag für moderne Kunst is distributed in the US by Artbook/D.A.P..

Her film work has been presented at New York Short Film Festival, Brooklyn International Film Festival New York, Independent Film- and Videofestival New York, ’Not enough TV’ Moving Art Studio Brussels, OVNI 99 Muestra de Video Independiente Barcelona, ‘Armaggedon Now!’ Kino Loge Winterthur, ’Circles of Confusion’ Independent Film Network Berlin
